As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and parent, I offer a genuine, non judgmental, and collaborative approach to helping individuals who are seeking to improve their relational, emotional and physical well being.
My extensive experience includes working with school aged children, adolescents, adults, and couples. In addition to traditional therapy, I have an advanced degree and experience in Art Therapy for those clients interested in this treatment option.
Art therapy can be helpful and healing for clients, of any age, who may want to explore and express themselves and communicate in a more indirect and non verbal way. Art therapy mediums include the use of pencils, oil pastels, paint, collage, sand tray, and clay.
Previous experience includes working with adults challenged with life transitions and stressors, marital conflict and divorce, parenting, depression, anxiety, and mental illness. Populations previously treated also include children and teens struggling with trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, social conflicts, low self esteem, ADHD, ODD, ASD, grief, eating disorders, and chronic pain.
